Personal Representative to the Sovereign Grand Inspector General in Florida. U.S. Navy Seabees veteran. Member of Friendship Lodge No. 53 since 1982 and coroneted 33rd Degree Honorary in November 1997.
Personal background
Ralph Shollenberger, Sr. was born June 8, 1950, in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, to Ruppert E. and Thelma G. Shollenberger. In May 1970, he married Theresa A. "Rocchino" Shollenberger. They have two children, Ralph Jr. and Melissa, and two grandchildren.
Military service
After college, Shollenberger enlisted in the United States Seabees and served with Mobile Construction Battalions 40 and 71, based in Davisville, Rhode Island. He deployed to Southeast Asia, where he sustained injuries resulting in separation from service with 100% disability status.
Blue Lodge career
Shollenberger joined Friendship Lodge No. 53 F. & A.M. in Fellowship, Florida, progressing through the degrees in 1982: Entered Apprentice on June 8, Fellowcraft on July 13, and Master Mason on August 17. He served as Worshipful Master in 1987 and 1988 and has served as Lodge Secretary for 24 years.
Scottish Rite career
Shollenberger joined the Scottish Rite in October 1983. He received the rank of Knight Commander of the Court of Honor in 1989 and was coroneted 33rd Degree Honorary in November 1997. He served as General Secretary of the Valley of Ocala from 2001 to 2006 and was reappointed to that position in November 2009. He currently serves as Personal Representative to the Sovereign Grand Inspector General in Florida.
